US Head of Retail Business Banking, HSBC
Michael MacIntyre has been with HSBC since April 2001, having served in a variety of management positions within their retail and commercial banks both in the US and abroad. He is presently the US Head of Business Banking.
Michael began his career at the Chase Manhattan Bank in 1994, as a member of their Management Training Program. He subsequently joined ABN AMRO/EAB in 1998 and held various positions within their corporate banking business. Michael holds a B.A. Degree from Saint Francis College, Brooklyn, NY and is a graduate of the Consumer Banker’s Association Graduate School of Retail Bank Management at the University of Virginia. Michael holds and Executive MBA, having completed an international academic fellowship at the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
Michael is presently a Trustee for Xaverian High School and St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY, and was formally on the Boards of the Brooklyn Philharmonic and the Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel in Beverly Hills. Michael serves on the Small Business Banking Committee for the Consumer Bankers Association.
Lastly, Michael is an adjunct professor in the Management & IT Department of St. Francis College, lecturing on topics in the financial services area.
